People with intellectual disabilities from across Europe come together to share experiences, ideas, and solutions for participation in society and democracy.

This online event brings together self-advocates and others advocating for inclusion from several European countries. It's a supportive space for learning, dialogue, and exchange.
The event takes place over two days.
Self-advocates lead the conversation. Participants share experiences that promote inclusion, rights, and representation.
Topics include:
- Having a voice. A podcast made by people with Down syndrome.
- Work and salary survey. Research done by self-advocates.
- Real jobs, real pay. People with intellectual disabilities working in the open labour market.
- Using data for advocacy. How we measure inclusion and understand if people with intellectual disabilities are truly included in society.
- Self-advocates platforms. How people can organise and make their voices stronger.
- Media and representation. How people with intellectual disabilities can use their own voice in the media.
- Working with politicians. How to speak up and ask for inclusive policies.
- Women with intellectual disabilities. Talking about challenges and gender equality.
- Collaboration and support for inclusion. Learning about work supporting people with Down syndrome across Europe.
Speakers at the event come from organisations in different countries:
- Austria,
- Georgia,
- Hungary,
- Iceland,
- Slovenia,
- and two European organisations.
Participants are expected to come from several other different countries, bringing a lot of experiences and ideas to learn from.
