We will talk about legal capacity and supported decision-making.

This means, we will talk about how people with intellectual disabilities can best make their own choices and get the support they need to decide for themselves.

Day 1

  • Learn how supported decision-making works in real life
  • Hear from people who challenged guardianship systems
  • Share what is happening in different countries

Day 2

  • Learn how laws are changing in Europe
  • See what works and what does not
  • Talk about what should happen next

Inclusion Europe is hosting this online discussion together with LebensGroß and Zavod RISA.

This event is organised as part of the Unity project, improving participation of people with intellectual disabilities in democracy. The project is co-funded by the European Union.
